Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dendrite, the collaborative terminal platform provided by KazLabs Pte Ltd ("KazLabs", "we", "us"), including the dendrite.sh website and the Dendrite client application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Access to Dendrite sessions requires an identity in a workspace directory. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your identity. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to store, transmit, or execute malicious code intended to harm systems you do not own or have permission to administer;
- join sessions you have not been invited to, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' sessions, hosts, or accounts;
- interfere with the Service's operation, including probing or breaching its security measures, or circumventing session permissions such as view-only mode;
- reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by applicable law;
- harass or abuse other session participants.
You are responsible for the content transmitted through your sessions and for complying with the laws that apply to the systems you access.
3. Your content
Commands, output, files, and messages created in your sessions are yours ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service - transmitting Your Content between session participants and the session host, and enforcing session permissions. We claim no ownership of Your Content.
4. Software licence
The Dendrite client application is licensed to you for use with the Service under the licence terms accompanying the software. Subject to those terms, KazLabs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the client for its intended purpose.
5. Alpha software
Dendrite is currently provided in alpha. It may contain bugs, change without notice, and experience interruptions or data loss. Do not rely on the alpha release for critical workloads, and always maintain independent backups of the systems you administer.
6. Fees and plans
Free-tier use is subject to the limits described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance according to the terms agreed at purchase; fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk for us or other users, or remain inactive as described in the plan terms. Where practicable, we will give notice before termination for breach.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KazLabs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KazLabs from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law grants you a different forum.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide notice (via the Service or email to workspace administrators) at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Contact
