Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how KazLabs Pte Ltd ("KazLabs", "we", "us") handles information in connection with Dendrite, our collaborative terminal platform, including the dendrite.sh website and the Dendrite client application (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your display name and workspace identity, provided by your workspace directory when you sign in.
- Usage information. Basic telemetry about the Service's operation, such as feature usage counts and error reports, used to maintain and improve the Service.
- Contact information. If you contact us (for example at hello@dendrite.sh), we keep your message and email address so we can respond.
2. Terminal content
Your terminal sessions - the commands you run, the output they produce, and the files on your hosts - are your content. We do not read, mine, or use your terminal content for advertising or model training. Terminal content is transmitted between session participants and the session host to provide the Service, and is not retained by us beyond what is technically necessary to operate sessions (for example, in-memory session state while a session is active).
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service - including authenticating users against workspace directories and enforcing session permissions such as view-only mode.
- To diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and performance.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including security notices and, where you have opted in, product updates.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting and payment providers, bound by contract to process data only on our instructions), and where required by law.
5. Data retention
We keep account and usage information for as long as your workspace is active, and contact correspondence for as long as needed to address your enquiry. You may request deletion of your account information at any time (see Section 7); terminal content held in active session state is discarded when the session ends.
6. Security
We encrypt session traffic and apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been exposed, contact security@dendrite.sh.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@dendrite.sh. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. International transfers
KazLabs operates globally. Where information is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the release notes or by email to workspace administrators. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
