Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Dendrite, the collaborative terminal platform operated by KazLabs Pte Ltd ("KazLabs", "we", "us"). It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to every user of the Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access.

1. Lawful use only

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only on systems you own or are explicitly authorized to administer. Do not use Dendrite to access, store, transmit, or execute content or code that violates applicable law, including export-control and sanctions regimes.

2. Authorized access

  • Only join sessions you have been invited to or approved for.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' sessions, hosts, accounts, or workspace data.
  • Do not share, scrape, or resell directory information or session metadata.
  • Do not circumvent session permissions, including view-only mode and just-in-time approvals.

3. Security

  • Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure without written authorization from us.
  • Do not interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service, including through denial-of-service activity or resource abuse.
  • Do not use the Service to distribute malware, conduct attacks against systems you do not administer, or exfiltrate data without authorization.
  • Responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities is welcome - see security@dendrite.sh.

4. Other users

  • Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other session participants.
  • Do not transmit content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful.
  • Respect the confidentiality of what you observe in shared sessions; terminal output often contains sensitive material.

5. Fair use of shared resources

On KazLabs-operated plans and infrastructure, do not consume resources in a way that degrades service for other workspaces. Self-hosted deployments remain subject to the licence terms accompanying the software.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access where a violation is confirmed or credibly alleged. Where practicable, we will notify the workspace administrator. We may also report activity to law enforcement where required or appropriate.

7. Reporting violations

Report suspected violations of this AUP to abuse@dendrite.sh or by post to KazLabs Pte Ltd, Singapore. Include enough detail for us to investigate.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email to workspace administrators, consistent with the notice provisions in our Terms of Service.
